ACRI young investigator training program (YITP)

In addition to the already announced travel awards, 15 ACRI YITP fellowships have beed granted from the Italian bank foundation ACRI (Associazione Di Fondazioni e Casse di Risparmio SPA). These prestigious awards will make it possible to 10 European and 5 Extra-European young scientists under 40 years old to both participate to the meeting in Palermo and to spend a short term-fellowship of up 3 weeks either before or after the meeting within an Italian Research Institute or University. The hosting laboratories of translational immunology that accepted to participate to this program of scientific exchange and networking are spread around the country in the cities of Palermo, Milano, Verona, Florence and Genova and are headed by faculty members this meeting.
The application to these ACRI YTPI will open on January the 2nd 2016 and will close on February the 10th when the late abstract submission will close (an extension for the deadline of late abstract submission has been already granted considering the short notification of the ACRI fellowships).

The 15 YTPI winners will be notified on February 15th (together with the notification of all travel awards). We will then offer to the winners a short list of 3 laboratories to choose (according to the available spots) and they have to notify us their final decision within a week. Materia Prima (the society in charge of the organization of the meeting)  will take care of the logistics, including travelling and hosting both in Palermo for the meeting and in the Italian cities where the hosting laboratories are located. We will cover/reimburse all the expenses up to € 4.000,00 for the 5 extra-european fellow and up to €  € 3.000,00 for the 10 european fellows (including VAT).

Submit your abstract now and we look forward to hosting you in Italy!
